Turbo C++ is a Windows OS Application for creating and Compiling C/C++ language's programs.
In this tutorial we are going to cover some basic things about Turbo C++ so we can word on this application without any Problem.
After installing Turbo C++ application on your Windows OS you will have A turbo C++ program's shortcut created on your Desktop.
which looks like this Image :
If shortcut missing from your Windows OS Desktop then it might be the case of Uncompleted installation of the Turbo C++ Application.
Try to install Turbo C++ again and your Shortcut will appear on the Desktop.
If you are sure about installation then you can Dig into your C: (windows Drive) to track your application's Executable (.exe) file.
For that Open File Explorer in your Windows OS
Then Open C Drive windows drive where your Windows OS is Installed.
Here Look for a Folder Called URBOC3. And open that Folder
Here Select a Folder Called Turbo C++ and you will see your Turbo C++'s executable file.
Double click on that file and run your Application.
After Double Clicking turbo C++ Shortcut you will see a Pop up window on your Screen like this :
Here you have to Click on Start Turbo C++ button to run Turbo C++ Application.
After clicking Start turbo C++ button you will see a interface like this.

File Option contains Buttons like :
New Button Creates new Blank page for writing Codes for Programming languages like C/C++.
To create a new Blank file you just have to Click on File option at the Top menu and Select New Button from there.
Open button allow users to open saved files from the Turbo C++ Application. To open any saved file you have to select File option from the Top menu and select Open button from there and a new Window will appear on the screen. Here you have to select your file and Click Open. this will open your Saved file in the Turbo C++ Application.
Save Button allow users to save there code using Turbo C++ Application. To Save any Code/file you have to select File option from the Top menu and select Save button from there and a new Window will appear (if you are Saving that file for fist time )on the screen. Here you have to select File Name and Extension for your File.
File name can be anything but you have to little vigilant while giving File Extension. Otherwise your Program won't work.
After giving filename and File Extension you have to Select Save and this will save you Code to given Location with Given filename and Extension.
Save As Button Works the same as Save Button but in the case of Save button, it will only ask you for location,file name and file extension if you are saving that file/code for first time. But after that Save button will automatically save that Code on the same location with given file name and file Extension without asking you first.
But Save As button will always ask you about Location, file name and File Extension every time you press the Save As button.
This will allow users to change the file name, location or file Extension whenever user wants.
Save All button Allow users to save More then one file at one click.
So except saving multiple files one-by-one you just Select File option from the top menu and select Save All button this will save all unsaved Files.
Change Directory button Allow users to change Directory so user can access and load files from another Directory/Location. To change Directory manually Select File option from the top menu and select Change Directory button. you will open a new Window on the Screen. Here you have to select your Directory from Directory Tree and after Choosing your Directory select OK
Quit Button allow user to Quit and Close the Turbo C++ application so user can exit from the Program or if there is unsaved files/code then this Quit button will ask users to save those unsaved files first before closing the Application.
To close Turbo C++ application select File option from the top menu and select Quit button. This will close Turbo C++ Application.
Compile Option also contains many Buttons like File Option but we are going to Discus about Compile button from the Compile Option menu.
Compile button allow users to Compile written code using Turbo C++ application. So user can compile there code to Track Errors and Warning so user can fix Tracked Error and Warnings.
To compile your Program you have to Select Compile option from the top menu and select Compile Button. And it will Compile you program and give results in a Small pop-up window.
Run option Contains Buttons to run Written program/Code.
Run Button allow user to run there program/Code so user can see results on the result Screen. To run Your Code/Program Select Run option from the top menu and select Run Button. And it will Run you program and give results in the Result window.
